Were would boaters be without the light?
It is interesting how easily from our perspective things can look dire.
It is my understanding that it actually takes a rather small light to have an impact. The secret is in the lense, how that spark is projected.
It is nice when walking in life to have a light, a glimmer of hope to hold onto, to look to, to judge one's position by. God's Word is such. The Sabbath School lesson today made me stop and think. Thankfully God's Word is there. Go ahead, click on the picture. Thankfully, like the lighthouse, the darker it seems, the brighter God's Word shines! The Light leads to refuge.
One other thought from the lesson:
"'If God didn't hesitate to put everything on the line for us, embracing our condition and exposing himself to the worst by sending his own Son, is there anything else he wouldn't gladly and freely do for us?' (The Message). How could we possibly think that God would send Jesus to die for us and then turn mean and stingy?" Something to ponder. We all like sheep have gone astray...yet He loved us before we loved Him. What an example God sets for us to live out in our own lives.
Do we put all on the line for others?

Great thoughts Paet!! Nice pics too. This quarters lesson has been a very big blessing to me...I'm sure others would agree.
